We will show you how to have the ministry of your dreams, at little or no cost to you. Using creative objects around your home or church, you will be amazed at the awesome ideas your ministry team will produce! This is a repeat of Saturday’s workshop. Beakers, Bubbles, and the Bible

Kids are fascinated by science experiments. Learn how to use science experiments to teach biblical truth. Join Dr. Fran Bunsenburner in her laboratory for lessons the kids won’t soon forget. Create a cloud out of Ivory soap and relate it to the small cloud that was Elijah’s sign from God that the drought would soon be over. Send a fountain fifteen feet in the air and talk about how God wants us to have an abundant and overflowing joy. This is a repeat of Saturday’s workshop. Grandparents as Parents—What to Do, How to Do!

An increasing part of family life in our society is grandparents raising their grandkids. How can this be accomplished? What are the challenges and opportunities as well as the issues involved in raising grandchildren? This workshop, presented by two persons currently involved with a national research project regarding grandparents raising grandchildren, will provide ideas and encouragement to those grandparents who are raising their grandchildren. Kid’s Place is an educational experience for children in kindergarten through fifth-grade grads. This year’s theme is One World One Dream. Register in Hartung Hall (on 5th Street next to Decker Hall) at the front entrance. T-shirts are available for $10 and may be picked up or purchased at the registration site. Kid’s Place/Little Kid’s Place Registration
Register in Hartung Hall (next to Decker Hall) at the front entrance.
On Saturday, all registrations will be inside the front doors at Hartung Hall. On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, Kid’s Place registrations take place inside the front doors at Hartung Hall and Little Kid’s Place registrations take place on site at Park Place educational wing. Kid’s Place/Little Kid’s Place is an educational experience for children three years old (toilet-trained) through fifth-grade grads. Many times a church thinks that starting a children’s ministry means putting together a puppet team or providing Bible school, but there’s some nitty-gritty work to be done before programming begins. Laying a strong foundation will give strength and endurance to your ministry, along with eliminating future problems. This is a repeat of Saturday’s workshop. To-Go Crafts for Preschoolers
Fine Arts, Room 266
Crafts will be demonstrated to show how they go with Bible stories. The purpose of crafts or art is for preschoolers to learn the Bible teaching and apply it to their lives. These crafts are simple, but they help preschoolers to be creative and take home the teaching. You will experience many different creative methods in this session. This workshop is particularly well-suited for those who work with preschool children. This is a repeat of Saturday’s workshop.
