COACH TRAINING TRACK
Coach Training Track
A three-session track designed to build theological understanding as well as coaching skills of persons already engaged in coaching through SHAPE or CTI Training.

Session 1, 9:00–10:30 am: Relational Christology—Seeing Christ clearly; developing a relational theology based on a fresh reading of the Gospels, learning from Jesus. Understanding this central tenet of SHAPE coaching and applying it to life and ministry. Leader: Jeannette Flynn.

Session 2, 10:45 am–12:30 pm: Carrying Coaching into the Church— How to coach a church? Exploring the use of a relational coaching mentality and methodology in the daily, organizational life of the church. Leader: Mike Claypool.

Lunch on your own, 12:30–1:30 pm

Session 3, 1:30–3:30 pm: Building Questioning Skills—Coaches ask questions. Learning to ask good questions that are open-ended and inviting is essential in the development of coaching skills and to the successful outcome of a coaching relationship. Leader: Mike Claypool.
