Those of us in Global Missions are excited about the introduction of Project Link. We feel strongly that in the same way that our highly successful Living Link program has enabled us to send out and support Church of God missionaries, so will Project Link be of extreme benefit to the international church abroad and to the church at home. You may ask why. Consider the following:

Accountability
As a donor, you will know exactly where your funds are going, that the proper person is handling those funds, and that they are being used for projects that directly strengthen and expand the Church of God internationally. Our regional coordinators, who live in the regions where the projects are located, will be visiting the sites of these projects and assisting us in monitoring them.

Connectivity
You will receive regular reports directly from the site of the project. Your connection to projects supported will include the possibility of work camps and on-site visits by your church, as well as the possibility of hosting international guests in your church. You will be connected to the world.

Information sharing
You will receive timely narrative reports for the projects that you support. Your church will also receive a regular newsletter by e-mail that will inform you about Project Link and tell stories that will encourage your heart. We hope that you will share with your congregation these reports and stories of God at work internationally.

A stronger international church
We believe that the international church will be stronger in the end because of this program. Churches abroad will form close ties with North American congregations while avoiding debilitating dependence. The projects they propose will be projects that they themselves will help support and projects that directly help the church to grow. Project Link is a giant step toward maturity and interdependence.

As you look through the list of projects in which you will have the opportunity to partner, there is so much more than just project names and numbers. These are our friends around the globe who are following the call of God on their lives and who wish for us to assist them. These projects span the globe: Africa; Asia and the Pacific; the Caribbean and the Atlantic; Europe, the Middle East, and the former Soviet Union; and Latin America. And all of them flow directly from at least one of Global Missions' five areas of mission focus:

Evangelism and discipleship
Equipping and sustaining leaders for ministry
Establishing churches
Modeling the compassion of Christ

Be a part of the bigger picture. Partner with Global Missions as daily we work diligently to address spiritual and physical needs worldwide. We know that you as a donor recognize those persistent needs and that you wish to respond positively. We are developing Project Link as a program of excellence.
