Dan Blanton: SAM to New Zealand
Missionary Announcements

Dan BlantonGlobal Missions is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Blanton as special assignment missionary to New Zealand. His availability to go is a timely answer to prayer. Dan will work with Westside Christian Fellowship in Auckland in the areas of discipleship and evangelism while career missionaries Doug and Danette Beisley are in the United States on home assignment.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Dan spent four years in the U.S. military after high school. After leaving the military, he spent a number of years in Texas before returning home to Georgia. It was in 1985 that Dan experienced a rededication of his life to the Lord and began to feel an interest in missions. Currently a member of Town Center Community Church in Marietta, Georgia, he has been actively involved in a number of ministries: domestic and foreign missions outreach, teaching youth and children, and music and drama.

Missionary Announcements

Aaron WrightGlobal Missions is delighted to announce the appointment of Aaron Wright as a special assignment missionary to Germany. Aaron will assist with strategic planning for the design, development, and implementation of a regional training, discipling, and evangelizing team for Europe, the Middle East, and the former Soviet Union.

After graduating with a degree in history and education, Aaron served as a youth pastor for two years before deciding to attend Anderson University School of Theology in 2002. During his time in seminary, Aaron’s call to ministry and cross-cultural missions was fused with his love for teaching as he rubbed shoulders with missionaries and professors who inspired him. Aaron graduated with a master of divinity degree in 2006 and is very excited about working with teaching, discipling, and evangelism in Europe, the Middle East, and the former Soviet Union. He desires your prayers as he embarks on this new phase in life, believing that God has wonderful things planned for this region of the world.
