Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

The Great Commandments are the heart of our ministries; the Great Commission is our ministry. We are called to love God with all our total being and to love our neighbor with the same care we love ourselves. We do not invent the message or the mission of the church. Neither of these is a choice—they are both commands, commands from our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Church of God reformation movement understands this goal—revitalizing the Great Commission—requires discipleship.
Discipleship is about assisting persons to become devoted followers of Jesus Christ; about local congregations becoming discipling centers; and about the global work of the church focused on developing networks, resources, and centers around the world to help men and women everywhere to follow in the footsteps of Jesus.
