See. Do. Teach. Going around the globe in missions partnerships

Sunday, June 26, 2011

Come and hear about "Go and See, Go and Do, Go and Teach" trips through Eye on the World (EOTW). Led by Don Smith and Ruben Schwieger of Global Missions, this conference promises to spark the enthusiasm of the church for mission partnerships through trips and support. This year, the conference will be presented twice.

The first segment, "Cutting Edge," will be a final update on the work accomplished in Haiti through the disaster relief efforts. Phil and Lonnie Murphy, Art and Suetta Clawson, John and Jodie Ackerman and others who played a major role will be present. The great effort and partnership shown by numerous Church of God organizations, congregations, individuals, and work teams with Church of God Ministries Disaster Relief demonstrates what can be accomplished together and is something we will celebrate.

In the "Edge of New Adventures," Global Missions regional coordinators will present their top priorities for Eye on the World trips for 2012–13. You will hear not only the passion of these leaders but see the places they have identified as great opportunities for partnerships in missions. Through EOTW you can travel with these leaders to those parts of the globe where the Church of God is on the cutting edge.

In "The Edge of Innovation," learn about some new programs being piloted through EOTW and Project Link designed to get more people involved in missions. The presentation will include an interview with a Church of God organization that works closely with our regional coordinators in Latin America in a way that is complementary with Global Missions.

Don't miss this conference! It will be offered on Sunday, 3:30–5:00 pm, in the Church of God Ministries Auditorium and again on Wednesday, 1:30–3:00 pm, in Park Place Newberry Room.
